podcamp boston wrapup.

Well, I didn’t take any pictures today sadly. But there are enough on Flickr to keep me entertained for a while. I woke up extra early so that I could get some work errands done (had to pick up some copies that would later need to be tabbed and bindered by the end of the night) at Staples. But hey, it’s Sunday and Staples opens at 10am. Crap.

Anyhow, I showed up casually late around 1:30 (the Staples I’d ordered the copies at on Thursday is about 1.5 hours from Boston but I stopped for lunch), just in time for Chris Brogan’s session which was really the deciding factor on why I bothered to drive into Boston when there was only half a day left.

So yeah, gushing aside, Chris Brogan and Chris Penn put together an amazing PodCamp this year.

GregPC posted an amazing Faces of PodCamp Boston set on Flickr. See if you can find me!

This was my first Boston PodCamp, but I went to the one in NYC a couple months ago. While that one was good, this one just had a very different vibe, in a good way. I swear podcampers are the friendliest people you’ll meet. I need to get over a shyness barrier with people every once in a while (yes my blog title is ironic), and podcampers made it very easy to make friends. I’m thinking of going to the one in Philly or Montreal. I’ve never been to Philly but I love Montreal. And neither is too far from home.

I’d write more, but all my material belongs to the Mequoda Daily :) Look for it tomorrow, because as of right now, I have about 2 hours worth of work I should still do before I GO to work tomorrow since we have an all day meeting and I’ll get nothing else done (hence the Staples run) otherwise.

Weekend? What’s a weekend?

Looking forward to seeing you at Podcamp Philly! I hope it will compare favorably to the other two podcamps you’ve been to!
